Who This Program Is For: Students who want structure beyond classroom theory Individuals exploring therapy as a serious career path Those who want hands-on exposure before committing to higher studies Psychology enthusiasts seeking guided, real-world immersion Duration: 6 months (Certification upon completion) *Internship commences on 2nd May 2026* Hours: 12-20 hours per week Work mode: Hybrid / Remote (On-site candidates preferred from Mumbai, though not mandatory) Working hours: Flexible but dependent on client appointments and training schedules. Internship Fee: ₹1,500 per month for 6 months (lumpsum payment of ₹ 9,000 is required)  Reach out if you’d like any assistance with payment on instalment basis.  Stipend: Unpaid (Performance-based opportunity for conversion to part-time / full-time / revenue-sharing position) What You’ll Do: Client Sessions: Depending on qualification and readiness, interns may observe, co-facilitate, or conduct supervised sessions under structured guidance. Professional Development: Attend supervision sessions (individual and group) to refine your skills. Gain access to numerous training programs, therapy demonstrations (recordings of real client sessions with Aanchal- the founder of ALC), and resources to deepen your knowledge. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks and organizational operations. Learning opportunity: Gain access to psychology-related books for in-depth study, critically analyze their content, engage in discussions with therapists, incorporate real-life examples, and create insightful summaries. Research opportunities: Undertake a guided Mini Research Project under ALC, involving book-based review, qualitative/quantitative research, presentation of findings, and clinical application. Selected research projects may be published on the ALC website and considered for advanced, paid research collaboration with us. What We’re Looking For: Education: Currently pursuing/qualified a Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling. Also, open to: Bachelor’s students in Psychology Recent graduates Career-switchers exploring mental health Psychology enthusiasts with serious intent to build clinical depth Prior academic training in psychology is preferred but not mandatory.  What matters the most: Commitment: A dedicated individual who can commit to the full 6-month program. Position: Clinical Psychologist (Assessment & Testing Specialist) Location: Andheri, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Consultant (Flexible) Compensation: Salary as per market standards & experience (fixed monthly salary or flexible revenue-sharing model per test – to be discussed) About Us Another Light Counseling is a queer-affirmative, trauma-informed mental health practice committed to making therapy and psychological care accessible, ethical, and evidence-based. We work with diverse populations, providing individual, relationship and family counseling, group therapy and services in modalities like IFS< EMDR, Eating disorders, DID, etc. We are now looking to onboard a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in psychological assessments and testing to strengthen our diagnostic and therapeutic support system. Key Responsibilities Administer, score, and interpret a range of psychological assessments including (but not limited to): General Mental Health & Well-being: GHQ-12, K10/K6, PHQ-9, GAD-7, DASS-21, WHO-5 Trauma & PTSD: PCL-5, ACE-Q, TSC-40, DES-II, SIDES, TSI, SSS-8 OCD & Related Disorders: Y-BOCS, OCI-R Stress & Burnout: PSS, CBI, MBI Personality & Coping: MCMI, BFI, MBTI, Brief COPE Addiction & Substance Use: AUDIT, DAST-10 Eating Disorders: EDE-Q, SCOFF Adolescents & Youth: SDQ, CES-DC Self & Identity: SCS, RSES, BQ, MAIA Relationships & Attachment: ECR-R, DAS, CTS2, Love Attitudes Scale Other Assessments: Intelligence tests, ADHD screening, Rorschach test, PAT   Write comprehensive psychological reports with clinical insights and recommendations. Maintain strict ethical standards, confidentiality, and RCI guidelines. Provide feedback to clients regarding their results. Collaborate with our therapy team to align assessments with treatment planning. Stay updated with the latest research, tools, and best practices in clinical assessments. Eligibility Criteria M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institute. RCI license (Preferable) Proven experience in administering, interpreting, and reporting psychological tests. Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ethical practice. Comfortable working with diverse populations including queer and trauma-affected communities. Excellent communication, empathy, and professionalism. Preferred Skills Experience in both structured and projective assessments (e.g., Rorschach, TAT/PAT). Training or experience with trauma-informed frameworks. Ability to supervise or mentor interns in test administration. Familiarity with digital platforms for remote testing (preferred).
