Refund Policy

Another Light Counselling considers refunds under specific circumstances. Any request beyond these will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, with the final decision made by the management.

  1. Overcharging & Accounting Errors: If an error results in overcharging, the excess amount will be refunded/carried forward for the next appointment.
  2. Service Deficiency: If a client finds the service unsatisfactory and the feedback is validated upon review, a replacement session with another therapist will be offered instead of a refund.
  3. Dissatisfaction Post First Session: A client may request to be matched with another therapist. If dissatisfaction continues, a full, partial, or pro-rated refund may be considered based on individual cases.
  4. Dissatisfaction After Multiple Sessions: If a client requests a change after more than one session, they will be assigned a new therapist. Refunds will only be considered for remaining sessions if dissatisfaction persists with the new therapist as well.
  5. Pausing or Discontinuing Therapy: Instead of a refund, a credit note will be issued. This credit note is transferable and can be used by friends or family members.
  6. Refund Eligibility Deadline: Refund requests must be submitted to the Manager within 10 days of the most recent session. Requests made after this period will not be considered.

All refund-related decisions by the management are final.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  1. Late Arrival: Sessions will not be extended if a client joins/reaches late. If a client joins 20 minutes after the start time, the session is considered canceled and will be fully chargeable.
  2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Notice:
    • More than 24 hours before session: No charge, rescheduling permitted.
    • Within 24 hours or last-minute: Full session charge applies.
    • Clients can reschedule an appointment a maximum of two times.
  3. Advance Bookings (5-7 Days or More in Advance): Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations/rescheduling in this case.. Failure to do so will result in the session being charged in full.
  4. Recurring Session Slots: Clients must notify 48 hours in advance for any cancellation or rescheduling of recurring sessions. Otherwise, the session will be fully chargeable.
