Social Media Intern (6 Months)
Are you a creative and driven individual passionate about making a meaningful impact through social media? We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to help us amplify our presence and connect with audiences on a deeper level.
As part of Another Light Counselling (ALC), a purpose-driven mental health service company, you’ll play a key role in crafting a digital space that promotes inclusivity, awareness, and healing.
Work mode: Remote (virtual)
Duration: 6 Months (Performance-based conversion to a permanent position)
Stipend: ₹7,000 – ₹10,000 per month (negotiable)

This position is exclusively with Another Light Counselling. Any involvement with 180 Method will occur only as part of defined ALC × 180 Method collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Posting
📹 Plan, create, and post:
Instagram / YouTube (with content being repurposed on LinkedIn):
- 16 Reels/Shorts per month with face and/or voiceover and/or playback audio (minimum)
- 8 Carousels per month. (minimum)
- 4 Static Posts monthly. (minimum)
- Instagram stories: 3 days a week
Craft thoughtful captions that not only engage but also align with our mission of mental health advocacy.
2. Social Media Strategy & Calendar
- Develop and execute a weekly and monthly social media calendar to maintain a consistent and impactful online presence.
- Conduct trend analysis to create relevant and relatable content for our audience.
3. Platform Management
📱 Oversee and optimize ALC’s presence on:
- YouTube
- Set up ALC on emerging platforms to expand reach and visibility.
4. Campaign Planning & Execution
- Design and execute creative social media campaigns to promote mental health awareness, services, and workshops.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, mental health advocates, and similar organizations for meaningful partnerships.
5. Engagement & Outreach
- Build an engaged community by interacting with followers through comments, messages, and campaigns.
- Help ALC reach more people by strategizing and implementing effective outreach initiatives.
6. Analytics & Improvement
- Track and analyze social media metrics (likes, shares, saves, reach, etc.) to understand performance.
- Use insights to tweak and improve content strategies for better impact and engagement.
Requirements
💡 Skills & Expertise
- Being skilled at face-to-camera content creation. (shooting your own face in the reels!)
- Canva (Mandatory)
- Basic video editing skills for creating Reels and Shorts.
- Proficiency in video editing software like Filmora, or similar platforms (Mandatory)
- Ability to create and edit catchy reels that engage the audience.
- Adobe apps proficiency is a plus, though not mandatory (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Knowledge of crossposting and scheduling tools like Creator Studio is a plus, though not mandatory.

- Exceptional writing skills to craft compelling captions and stories.
- An eye for aesthetics and trends to create visually engaging content.
