My heartfelt whisper of support for you:

Hello! I hope that you are well. I’m a Junior Counselling Psychologist at Another Light Counselling, and I hope to be able to assist you in rediscovering yourself and engaging with you in a manner that honours your experience, highlights your needs, and focuses on all that is important to you. In the process of therapy, we may have days that are tough and challenging, and we may have days that are boring, overwhelming, and uncomfortable. I can guarantee that I will show up. I hope that you will, too. I look forward to working with you

What is your philosophy or belief about therapy?

Therapy remains one of the last few places where honest, non-violent, and truthful communication is encouraged and held in high esteem. As such, my philosophy regarding therapy is centered around my role as being able to facilitate these difficult conversations and assist individuals in self-reflection and making safe and informed choices that elevate their quality of life and ultimately our society.

One key learning or insight from my experience as a mental health professional - I have learned (the hard way) that curiosity and patience are unparalleled qualities that slowly seem to be disappearing.
